important announcements (for ISWC 2002)

Update 17th March, 2003- ISWC 2003 has been announced. This year it will be held in White Plains, New York at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Papers are due April 28th, 2003. The conference will be held from October 21 - 23, 2003. Visit the official web site for more information.

Update 7th October, 2002 - ISWC 2002 has started today! The final program is available as a PDF and contains details for all the sessions, including times and venues. Please come to the HUB building at the University of Washington to register for the conference.

Update 15th September, 2002 - We have extended the date for the discounted registration rate for another week to September 20th, 2002 (5pm EST). Visit the IEEE registration interface to sign up now and save on the normal conference rate!

Update 30th August, 2002 - We have an official invitation here to the conference, at http://iswc.tinmith.net/invite.htm - Please forward this to as many people as you can to make this the biggest and best ISWC ever!

Update 17th July, 2002 - At ISWC we will be hosting a fashion show for the first time. We will have a number of models showing off the latest in wearable computers, and if you would like to find out more, or if you would like your equipment to be modelled, please visit the fashion page.

Update 9th July, 2002 - All acceptance emails for submissions of papers, posters, and case studies have been sent to authors. The camera ready dealine for final submissions is 26 July, 2002 - the authors kit you would have received via email contains submission details.

Update 28th May, 2002 - All submissions for ISWC are closed and the submissions are being processed for reviewing. We will notify the authors of all ISWC submissions via email of the results of this process when it is completed.

Update 29th April, 2002 - We have extended the deadline for all ISWC submissions to May 13th, 2002. Please visit this page to upload your submission.

Update 22nd April, 2002 - We have had some emails regarding the submission process. For all papers and posters you must submit the full paper as a PDF file, as well as the abstract and contact details electronically, on the due date May 6th, 2002. See the CFP for details.

The 6th IEEE International Symposium on Wearable Computers 2002 (ISWC 2002) is sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society. The purpose of ISWC is to bring together researchers, product vendors, research sponsors, and others to share information and advances in wearable computing.
